Jecca jazz ensemble
Jecca Jazz Ensemble is a brand new repertory vocal jazz ensemble in Portland, OR, representing styles of vocal jazz ranging from classic to contemporary works. Vocalist, educator, and conductor Jessica Israels developed this ensemble, featuring collaborative arrangements with her father, bass player and composer Chuck Israels. Jecca Jazz gave their debut performance at Chehalem Cultural Center in Newberg, Oregon on September 9, 2022. This concert was supported in part by the Regional Arts & Cultural Council's Make, Learn, Build grant. Below are some video clips from that event.
